The hottest toy of 2025 is becoming the target of thieves looking to make a quick buck. Thousands of dollars worth of Labubu dolls have been stolen from a toy store near Los Angeles.
In the early morning hours of August 6, a group of masked men broke into the One Stop Sales store in La Puente, California and ended up walking out with about $7,000 worth of the collectable dolls. Police say the bandits stole a car and used it as their getaway vehicle in the heist. The car was discovered shortly after the theft, but the suspects and the loot were long gone.
Labubu dolls vary in price from $20 to over $900, depending on rarity.
So far, no arrests have been made.
